§ 24-11. Height regulations.

  • (a)

    No building or structure or part thereof shall be erected or altered to exceed the maximum height standards specified for the district in which the building is located as follows:

    (1)

    In the A, SF-1, SF-2, and 2F districts, maximum building height shall be twenty-four (24) feet.

    (2)

    In the MF district, maximum building height shall be twenty-four (24) feet.

    (3)

    Reserved.

    (4)

    In the R and C-1 districts, maximum building height shall be twenty-four (24) feet.

    (5)

    In the B-2, I and PD districts, a maximum building height is not specified, except that the building floor area ratio shall not exceed one (1) to one (1) and the building height does not conflict with other laws or ordinances.

    (b)

    In any district where the building height is restricted to twenty-four (24) feet or less, cooling towers, roof gables, chimneys, vent stacks or mechanical equipment room may project, not to exceed twelve (12) feet, beyond the maximum building height specified for the district.
